Peer Support Services (PSS)

Peer Support Services is a community-based, recovery-oriented service for adults with identified mental health and/or substance abuse issues. PSS differs from other services in that individuals in need are paired with “peers”; trained and certified individuals who are stable in recovery from their own mental health or substance abuse issues, and who can listen, provide guidance, and instill hope for recovery based on their own personal experiences. Peer Support allows those seeking recovery the opportunity to learn directly from those who have been, and continue, walk that same path.
